nostWinter Page-Turners Mini 100 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle | New York Puzzle Company

Nobody can put their book down, not even on the slopes. 📚❄️ Winter Page-Turners by New York Puzzle Company is a 100 piece mini jigsaw puzzle featuring Greg Clarke's wonderfully dry New Yorker cover from December 20 & 27, 2004 — a snowy winter landscape where absolutely everyone, from the snowshoer about to walk into a tree to the skier hurtling downhill, is too absorbed in their book to notice. Even the bear is reading. 🐻

📄 Description

Clarke's illustration unfolds across a soft, misty winter landscape of snow-covered evergreens and gentle mountain slopes in pale greens, whites, and muted earth tones. In the foreground, a figure in a red jacket and green bobble hat snowshoes directly toward a tree trunk, book held up to his face, completely oblivious. To his left, a bear leans against the treeline engrossed in his own volume. Behind them, a woman in a green coat and red striped scarf ice skates with a book open in her hands, a bundled figure ice fishes on a frozen pond nearby with a book propped on their lap, and a child in a red hat sledges downhill mid-chapter. High on the slope above, a skier in a tan coat tears down the mountain — reading all the way — while a tiny reindeer watches from the very top of the hill, apparently the only one paying attention to their surroundings.

Clarke's clean, geometric illustration style gives the scene a storybook stillness that makes the comedy land all the more quietly. A love letter to readers and winter in equal measure, and a mini jigsaw puzzle that book lovers will immediately want to own. 🎿

❤️ Reasons to Love this Puzzle

Greg Clarke's gentle, geometric style and muted winter palette make this a beautiful and satisfying 100 piece build — soft enough to feel calming, detailed enough to keep you engaged. The running visual joke of every character lost in their book rewards a slow look at each section of the finished image, and the reindeer keeping watch from the summit is the kind of quiet punchline that only gets better the more times you notice it. A small puzzle with a big personality, and an ideal gift for anyone who considers reading the best winter sport. 📖
